(CGHAS) stands for Canada Global Humanitarian Actions Society.

The CGHAS is a non-governmental, non-subsidized, not-for-profit organization headquartered in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Its primary objective is: the need for greater co-operation. Also, has been actively lobbying since its inception for the strengthening of “people-to-people” diplomacy, capable of support, assist, and solve human issues of poverty and education.

CGHAS Actions are carried on in accordance with the principles of the UN on Humanitarian Aid.

CGHAS serves with transparency and respect.

CGHAS works with Not-For-Profit organizations and NGOs, that are fair and socially harmonic. Support, serve, contribute, and create better living conditions, wherever it is most needed.

CGHAS is doing its part to enrich minds and improve lives through collaborations with like-minded organizations and people.

The CGHAS incorporated in British Columbia, (BC) Canada initially in December 2007 as “The Armenian Solidarity International”. (ASI)

In March 2010 the name was changed to “CANADA GLOBAL HUMANITARIAN ACTION SOCIETY”. (CGHAS)

PRINCIPLES
Humanity – Protect life and health, ensure respect for human being, alleviating suffering;

Impartiality – Projects must be based on need. No discrimination of nationality, place of origin, race, color, political views, gender, religion;

Neutrality – Humanitarian actions must not favor any side where such action is carried out;

Independence – Autonomy from political, economic, military or others may hold with regard to areas where humanitarian action is being implemented;

Social Responsibility – To each community in which CGHAS operates.

Ethical and Moral – Conduct with ethical and moral behavior at all Program implementations;
