CGHAS – Student Loan Program

Admission’s criteria.
In order to be eligible for CGHAS – Student Loan Program, the applicant must:
1- Be admitted to a full – time, degree-granting academic program (Bachelor, Master, PhD) at one of the recognized Canadian Universities.
2- Be between the ages of 18 and 30 at the time of application.
3- Provide proof of identity. submit a valid passport or ID card, a birth certificate, passport of parents.
4- Required to be full – time for the duration of their degree programs.
5- Deferment of a loan is not allowed.
6- Apply for a CGHAS-Student Loan program only after having applied to the universities for the scholarship.
7- the Updated Financial application has to be presented with the current academic program application.
8- A student may not resubmit an old application.
9- Cannot apply to CGHAS – student loan twice for the same academic degree level if he/she has already been granted a student loan.
10- Application period is open starting September (00:00 midnight, Canada Pacific time), and closes on December 25th (23:59, Canada Pacific time). For the Next Educational Academic Year.
11- Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
12- CGHAS – student loan Program to be reimbursed upon the completion of the degree.
Unconditional offer from the university
1- You cannot apply for CGHAS STUDENT LOAN. if only have a conditional offer from the university.
2- An official letter from your university stating that you are currently enrolled at your university and will be eligible to continue your studies for the upcoming academic year which you are applying for.
3- Copy of the application form given to the university or the response letter from that same university
4- The university’s refusal or approval of financing or a letter stating that the selection process is ongoing;
or:
5- An official confirmation letter stating that you are ineligible to receive aid, and you have applied to at least one other found for financial aid.
6- If you are already a current student at a university you are applying for, you should attach an official document from your university stating your financial aid status for the current and upcoming academic years.
Biography
The biography must:
– be written in the first person and in prose form
– not be translated into English Language using an online translation tool.
Photo should be
-show your face clearly;
-no wearing sunglasses and/or a cap;
-not be cropped from a group picture.
A photo of your smiling face is more than welcome, but please remember that it is going to be posted on our official site, www․.cghas.ca
Additional documents (excluding first-year applicants)
GPA score
You should provide an official document with your latest GPA score. If your university does not use the GPA system, your transcript is acceptable.

The CGHAS Student loan program expects all students:
1-To make an effective contribution to the (CGHAS) Canada Global Humanitarian Actions Society.
2-To play an influential part in the betterment of society.
3-To be a proud Ambassadors of their own culture.
4- Encourages civil participation for his community.
